Reed Rudy

Reed attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, working with experimental theater icon, Anne Bogart and he is a UCLA graduate. In film, he played Lt.Roger Chaffee in SAG winner, Apollo 13 (1995), Spicer in Sundance winner, Pastime(1990), Kevin McKane in Sundance favorite, Scotland P.A.(2001). He's also created an engaging combination of charming and rough & tumble characters on TV and film. He played the ruthless villain, Max for a season on Days of Our Lives. He is active in the voiceover community, voicing hundreds of commercials and narrating multiple series for CNBC, VH1, Encore and for NFL. He has been the vocal coach for many of KCRW's on-air talent and NPR. He was the vocal coach for all three seasons on the documentary series, Religion of Sport. He has performed with Naked Angles Theater Co in NYC. For 20 years Reed acted, directed and mentored kids in L.A.'s Virginia Ave. Project. He is married to Birgitte Kristen, who owns and teaches at Yoga Changes. They have two wonderful sons.
