Rob Flanagan has a commanding screen presence. His size, strength and lived-in truth brings depth and substance to his characters. British-born but based in Australia, Rob carries a real-world masculinity that's rare now. It feels earned, not performed. He's the kind of man Denzel Washington or Josh Brolin would play - tall, capable, worn-in - with the unpredictable edge of a Tom Hardy character when it's needed. He came to acting later than most and added a stunt accreditation to his resume to back it all up as the real deal.
