Robert Evans

Robert Evans is a BAFTA-nominated television writer and original series creator whose work spans drama, comedy, and family entertainment. He has written extensively for the BBC, ITV, Sky, Channel 4, Disney, ABC, PBS and S4C, serving as lead writer on multiple returning series and adapting several books for screen. His credits include the RTS Award-winning Sky One comedy-drama Stella, BBC flagship serial EastEnders, the International Emmy-nominated Secret Life of Boys (BBC/ABC), the multiple Emmy Award-winning Odd Squad, and BBC Studios' The Dumping Ground. Robert is also the creator of several original series, including CBBC's Sadie J - sold to more than 25 territories worldwide - Disney's So Sammy (with Miranda Hart), and ITV's The Edge of Heaven. He served as lead writer on the live-action TV adaptation of Julia Donaldson's Princess Mirror-Belle and four seasons of CBBC's hit series Waffle the Wonder Dog.
