Roy Lynam is a dynamic actor whose presence, versatility, and grounded energy have made him a standout across film, television, and theater. A former All-American lacrosse player and professional tennis player, Roy brings that same elite-level discipline to his work - balanced by a natural sense of humor that often keeps sets loose and spirits high. He earned his SAG eligibility in his very first year on set, appearing opposite the legendary Burt Reynolds in Burn Notice - a breakout opportunity that set the tone for a career built on strong performances and standout moments. Roy first stepped behind and in front of the camera at the Palm Beach Film School, where he wrote, directed, edited, and starred in the award-winning short Dotted Lines. His lead role in Seven Deadly Words earned him Best Actor at the Coal River Film Festival, and he's since built a strong resume in indie film, national commercials (IBM, USGA, Burger King), and television. A career highlight includes being handpicked by James Brolin for a short film Brolin directed and starred in - performing opposite both Brolin and Justin Baldoni. On stage, Roy thrives in front of live audiences, with favorite performances in Dial M for Murder and the comedic crowd-pleaser Beau Jest, where his love for both sharp wit and physical comedy brought laughs to a packed house of 700+. Whether delivering subtle, dry humor or leaning into the silly to break tension and get a laugh, Roy's comedic instincts are a defining part of his personality - and a strength he brings to both dramatic and comedic roles.
