Ruby Matenko

Ruby Matenko made her feature film debut in "My Little One," cast from a nationwide search in which hundreds of girls read for the part of Frida. Her television credits include a series regular role on the Disney Channel pilot "One Big Happy," a recurring role on "Baskets," and guest appearances on "Miracle Workers," "Alexa & Katie," "Transparent," "Veep" and "Life in Pieces." She will also soon be seen in a major role in the film "Timmy Failure" on Disney +. When not acting, Ruby is an avid reader, as well as writer. She also loves to swim, play tennis, dance, sing, and play with and teach her little brother. She loves to learn, and has received a President's Award for outstanding academic achievement as well as having been ranked in the top 10% in the USA for math Olympiads. She regularly makes honor role at the scholarship level. She is a graduate of Junior Police Academy Camp. Ruby loves to travel, especially to Canada to visit her extended family. Ruby has been learning to speak French and hopes to visit France soon.
