Russell Simpson

Russell is an award-winning screenwriter, actor and filmmaker. He has staff written/associate produced on two seasons of The Inspectors on CBS - nominated for 6 Daytime Emmys, including one for Best Writing. With Academy Award-nominee Marianne Jean-Baptiste starting and executive producing, Russell directed the second episode of his show, Parole as a showcase - the piece was Official Selection at top festivals including HollyShorts, LA Shorts, Nashville, Cleveland and the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. It went on to garner the Performance Award at the USA Film Festival. As an actor, he has won eight Best Supporting Actor awards for his performance in Love Is Not Love.
