Ruth Platt

Ruth Platt is a writer/director. Her BFI supported genre film, Martyrs Lane, is on Shudder. Her micro budget feature The Black Forest premiered at Edinburgh Film Festival in 2019 and was nominated for The Michael Powell Award for Best British Film. She read English Literature at University College, Oxford, before training at RADA, leaving in her second year.
