Ruth Platt

Ruth Platt is a writer/director. Her BFI supported genre film, Martyrs Lane, is on Shudder. Her micro budget feature The Black Forest premiered at Edinburgh Film Festival in 2019 and was nominated for The Michael Powell Award for Best British Film. She read English Literature at University College, Oxford after a comprehensive school education. She won a place at RADA after university, but left in her second year.
