Sam Robards

Sam Robards is an American actor, director and producer who has worked across film, television and theater. Born in New York City, he comes from a multi-generational acting family. Robards (American Beauty, A.I.: Artificial Intelligence, Fandango), whose Tony Award nominated stage work includes productions on Broadway and Off Broadway, began his career on stage before moving into screen roles in the 1980’s. He has appeared in a variety of television series, including The West Wing, Law & Order and Gossip Girl, and brings a natural, easygoing presence to a wide range of roles.
