Scott Watson is a Brooklyn-based actor, writer, and comedy creator/professional silly person best known for his role as Richard Cottingham in Netflix's Crime Scene: The Times Square Killer and Cliff Shelden in HBO's Mind Over Murder. Recognized as "The Hardest-Working Mustache in Showbiz," Scott has appeared in over 30 national commercials, including the viral Grammarly underwater office campaign, Redfin, Trolli, Ray-Ban, Zenni, Burlington, and NJM Insurance. A versatile performer, Scott is also a series regular in Duolingo's sitcom Living With Lily and has appeared in Investigation Discovery's Evil Lives Here, A Crime to Remember, and the feature film Love in Kilnerry. His commercial and comedy work has gained traction on social media, with audiences often searching for campaigns like "When the Moon Was Twice as Big." Scott graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Theatre Performance and has performed Off-Broadway and regionally, including Drunk Shakespeare, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Waitress. Beyond acting, Scott is a writer of plays, screenplays, and fiction. Raised in Michigan with time spent in Botswana and Vietnam, he's an avid traveler and history enthusiast.
