Seth A Smith

Seth A Smith is a Nova Scotia-based filmmaker and visual artist known for The Crescent, Lowlife, and Wind Through A Tree. In 2012 he completed his first film, Lowlife. The 5k feature premiered at Fantasia and went on to receive a nation-wide, 25 city, crowd-sourced theatrical release. In 2017 his sophomore effort, The Crescent, premiered in TIFF's Midnight Madness section, took awards for best score, screenwriting, and actress at the Atlantic International Film Festival, and was given a nomination for the 2017 Directors Guild of Canada Discovery Award. Outside of directing, Seth is known for his music in Dog Day.
