Shaconna E. Derico

Shaconna E. Derico is an Atlanta-based American actress and assistant director working across stage and screen. Her recent stage work includes portraying Nettie in The Color Purple with Obsidian Arts Collective, where she has performed in and directed multiple productions. Her screen credits include The Breakup Masters (2021), The Captor (2025), Mood (post-production), and Duplicity (2026). She trained at the Miami Acting Studio and holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in Communication and Public Relations. Her special skills include choreography, improvisation, hosting, and voiceover.
