Actor, Director

Steve earned his MFA in Acting from the Professional Theatre Training Program at Brandeis University in 1991, where he received a full-tuition scholarship and teaching assistantship. As an actor, he has worked off-Broadway and in Regional Theatre with the likes of Obie Award-winner Ralph Lee & The Mettawee River Theatre Company, with whom he was honored to perform as a movement artist in the 1990 ticker tape parade for Nelson Mandela in New York City. After 30 years of teaching and directing, Steve jumped back onto the boards as 'Adam Comley' in Philippe van Leeuw's, "The Wall (2023)" opposite Vicky Krieps ("Phantom Thread," "Corsage"). Steve directed "The Secret Lives of Teachers," which played over two dozen festivals and garnered 9 honors and awards. His first feature, "Lucky U Ranch," is distributed by Random Media. Steve also directed "42 Seconds," which won multiple awards at festivals in 2024, and "Room 107," which premiered at the prestigious Dances with Films:NYC and won "Best Arizona Short" at the Arizona International Film Festival in 2024.
