Suhas Palshikar

Suhas Palshikar is a veteran Indian actor known for his extensive work in Hindi and Marathi cinema, television and theatre. He began his professional acting career with a minor role in Richard Attenborough’s Academy Award-winning film Gandhi, marking the start of a long and respected journey in the entertainment industry. Over the years, he has earned a reputation as a versatile character actor, frequently portraying intense, layered and morally complex characters. He gained wider recognition with his performance as Laliya in the Hindi film Ankush, which remains one of his most remembered early roles. His portrayal of Irfan Mamu in Chandni Bar brought him significant critical acclaim and earned him an IIFA Award nomination for Best Performance in a Negative Role.
