Sydney Jennell Johnson

Born and raised near Dallas, TX, Sydney is an accomplished young actress who began her career as an infant when signed by a local modeling agency at the age of 9 months. After much early success, Sydney grew very comfortable on set and in front of the camera, leading her parents to enroll Sydney in acting classes at age 4. Raised by a family of military veterans, Sydney's work ethic and discipline are unparalleled, which have contributed to her success on and off camera. Sydney has established a stellar resume over the years working as a print model and commercial actor for top brands like Nike, Ford, Pillsbury, Epson (alongside Mr. Shaquille O'Neal), Nintendo, American Girl, Burberry, Hostess and Crocs to name a few. At age 8, Sydney booked her first leading role in a children's television Pilot, "Dream With Spree." Working on this project helped Sydney develop a love for green screen animation and children's programming. Since filming her first show, Sydney has gone on to book series regular, top-of-show guest star and recurring co-star roles for some award-winning Directors on productions like "Mayor of Kingstown" (Taylor Sheridan/Stephen Kay) and Tyler Perry's "Young Dylan" for Nickelodeon (Chip Fields-Hurd/Kim Fields). Sydney is very athletic and prides herself on performing her own stunts, welcoming any opportunity to master a new skill. Sydney has embraced roles where she's studied under professional dog handlers/agility trainers, martial artists, zoologists, reptile handlers and equine stunt experts. Off camera, Sydney spends most of her time serving in her church music ministry where she sings and plays guitar, or at the equestrian center where she boards her beloved horse, Venus. Sydney trains in competitive Equestrian sports; English show-jumping, dressage and cross-country. In addition to acting, Sydney has dreams of one day competing in the Olympics.
