Sylvia Kay

When Sylvia was in her early twenties, she was understudy to Vivien Leigh in the West End for about two months. She then married and had three children. She found it difficult looking after the children and working in the theatre, so she decided to confine her career to films and TV series in order to fit in better with family life. She returned to theatre work in 1984.
