Tim Taylor

Tim Taylor grew up in Southern California and has been on stage since elementary school, starting with talent shows, singing and acting in community theater. During college years Taylor studied with Eric Morris and began acting in Film. SAG by Taft Hartley in 1989 when the Nishika 3-D Camera commercials already shot signed Union to add Vincent Price. In the 1990's Taylor was a "regular extra" on Pacific Station at Disney Studios, with "Tool Time" filming in the next sound stage. Central Casting sent Tim Taylor on over 100 TV and film productions, as featured background. Agents advised him to get back to theater and when Taylor moved to northern California he was cast as TOM in The Glass Menagerie, directed by the retired Robert Gist at the Paradise Theater on the Ridge. When not acting, he also constructed a series of stage sets for the local community and high school theaters, and was an announcer for NPR's "A Classical Concert". In 2008 Taylor moved overseas to live in the Northern Marianas Islands to pay off student debt, and took up scuba diving, enjoying art and photography. After the service obligation, in 2010 Taylor enrolled at New York Film Academy for an MFA in Acting for Film, graduating in 2012. Acting teachers called him the elephant in the room, being a theater degree candidate in his 50's. After the MFA Taylor was cast as the villain "Dr. Dragmar" in the children's movie "Dognapped", and was principle in 3 other Magic Elevator films. He produced and had a small role in "Out for Vengeance" in 2015, a film only recently completed, now in production of a sequel with Kickboxer's Michel Qissy, the director's cousin. Now Taylor lives in Nevada USA, and has had the pleasure of working a few days on Las Vegas' Zac Bagans' Ghost Adventures. He's also finishing a documentary of his own art, and shows painting and sculpture regularly. Taylor is one of Art Market's "Top Investable Artists of 2026". Also a semi-retired physician, Taylor has time to do what he loves, and has made more art during the shut downs than ever before.
