Ty Durden

Ty Durden's career in film began in 2015, while assisting a local filmmaker on his film, after his journey as a musician. He connected with the director in an effort to further his rap music career through music videos, which spanned over 24 years. After assisting on the set of the film, he decided that he desired to become more engulfed in the film world. He was so inspired that shortly after in 2016, he wrote his first full feature movie script "No Redemption", in which he directed, edited, produced and starred in. After the film receiving great accolades, Durden immersed himself into the film industry and in 2017 created his second film, "Careful What You Wish For" - A Supernatural Horror. While his first two films were received extremely well, neither received as many accolades as his first short film "Counterplay" in 2018, which starred Renaissance Jones, Katrina Jeen, & Joslyn Hall. In 2019, he launched his first webseries "North Cack" which is based in Charlotte, NC about the fine arts and the drama that surrounds each one. After that, he followed up with the full feature version of "Counterplay" (Tubi) which starts the original main cast. Afterwards, he went on to direct his feature film "Under The Gun". He has acted over 20+ projects, directed and wrote for many others as well.
