Tyler Burke

Tyler Burke's acting career began before he was even considered a teenager! His calling to the stage all started when he was granted the lead in a school play in the second grade in his home town of Frankfort, Illinois. He performed in many school plays throughout high school as well. He graduated from Arizona State University with his BA in Theatre and a concentration in Acting. During his time at ASU, he had the opportunity to act in over 40 student films. This helped in Tyler's growth as a true performer. Along with his long resume, his passion for performing has taken him all over the world - from California to Switzerland. But the list doesn't end there; he has been a part of films in Detroit, Boston, Arizona and many more destinations. But it takes more than just passion to make a name for yourself in this business - it takes talent! And that is what Tyler has. The proof lies in the pudding as he has won many awards in his youthful career, including Best Actor at the 2014 ASU Film Festival. His roles have ranged from dark to comedic, westerns to romances. As an actor, Tyler hopes to have a long career in both film and television. He looks up to some of the most well-known actors in Hollywood like Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Tom Hardy, and Robert De Niro. His favorite genre is drama - and he has had plenty of experience performing dramatic roles, both in front of the camera and on live stages. What drives Tyler's passion for acting is that he "gets to provide an escape for people through storytelling." He hopes his hunger for film can inspire others as well - and maybe even change their life by watching his performances. Beyond his love for film, Tyler enjoys other artistic endeavors such as painting, photography and drawing.
