Walter Anaruk is an Korean-American/Native Alaskan award-winning film and television actor and screenwriter. He was born on an American military base in Taipei, Taiwan. While in college, he made performing his biggest standout achievements. He repeatedly won state and regional awards for Dramatic Interpretation, Poetry, Prose and Duo Interpretation on the University Forensics team - including a fourth place finish at Pi Kappa Delta National Championships. He was also a guitarist and vocalist in multiple bands. Walter left Florida and made Colorado home in 2008. While he has done some theater in recent years, his focus is on-camera work. Walter's first break into mainstream film came as the supporting character of Coach Doug Nguyen in the Netflix original movie Amateur. He has since played in several television movies on Lifetime, and UpTV. He also had supporting roles in theatrical films like Lionsgate's Silk Road with Nick Robinson, and opposite Kiowa Gordon in the award winning film Quantum Cowboys. In addition to feature film work, Walter is also building a resume in episodic television. He has performed in co-starring roles in hit television shows such as AMC's Better Call Saul, FOX's The Cleaning Lady, and Showtime's The Curse. When he's not on set, Walter is a USA Volleyball juniors coach. He can also be found out singing karaoke with friends. He is a wine enthusiast, practices martial arts, and still writes music.
