Wendy Braun is an accomplished actress with more than 90 film, television, and theater credits, recognized for her versatile range, sharp comedic instincts, and commanding screen presence. She stars in a pivotal, season-defining role in Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, the second installment of the Emmy-nominated documentary-style comedy series, portraying a formidable private equity executive whose presence drives the season’s central power struggle between corporate ambition and small-business values. Previously, she garnered widespread recognition for her acclaimed four-season run as the uptight yet well-intentioned Kathy on Netflix’s Atypical, opposite Jennifer Jason Leigh and Michael Rapaport, a performance critics praised as "a stand-out among the cast." Equally at home in comedy and drama, Braun has built a career playing vivid, sharply drawn characters with precision, wit, and authority. Her television credits include Grey’s Anatomy (ABC), This Is Us (NBC), It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX/Hulu), Bones (FOX), The Mentalist (CBS), Documentary Now! (IFC), and Criminal Minds (CBS). Her film work includes starring as the high-strung, hilariously frazzled ‘Sherryl’ in the cult comedy feature Donny’s Bar Mitzvah opposite Danny Trejo, and roles in The Clapper alongside Ed Helms and Tracy Morgan. She also enjoyed a notable 10-episode arc on General Hospital, where her memorable portrayal of the officious Ms. Iris Sneed led to a contract role on the spin-off series General Hospital: Night Shift. A highly sought-after voiceover talent with more than 1,000 credits, Braun is a fan favorite for her role as undercover agent Gianna Parasini in the Mass Effect franchise, with additional work including Cartoon Network’s We Bare Bears and major national advertising campaigns. A Midwest native, Braun studied theater at Indiana University and trained in comedy and improvisation at The Groundlings and Upfront Comedy, with stand-up experience at venues including The Improv, The Comedy Store and Zanies. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Josh Cox, and their two sons.
