With little more than ambition and a few hundred dollars in his pocket, he moved to the United States to chase his dreams-a move that would mark the beginning of an extraordinary journey. Overcoming language barriers, financial hardships, and industry hurdles, Zak's unwavering discipline and drive pushed him beyond limits. He became a two-time European martial arts champion and claimed multiple world and international titles. A true martial arts master, Zak holds several black belts and has trained across multiple disciplines. He also became a certified professional fitness trainer and opened his own fitness center, turning his passion into a thriving business. Zak gained national recognition with the launch of Tai-Box Kick To Fit, a groundbreaking fitness video series that blended kickboxing, martial arts, and aerobics. Featuring radio personality Ellen K of KOST 103.5 FM, the series soared to #6 on the Billboard Video Chart, selling over $1 million in retail from the late 1990s into the early 2000s. His elite martial arts background naturally transitioned into a successful career as a stuntman and actor. Zak's credits include major projects like Red Notice, NCIS: Los Angeles, Judas and the Black Messiah (Oscar winner), Mayans M.C., SEAL Team, and many others. He's also appeared in Live By Night, and is a co-star and guest star in The All Men's Queen, The Morning Show, Barry, and Teacup. Behind the scenes, he has written, directed, and produced feature films. His latest passion project, The Next Big Hit, is a martial arts musical comedy that he created, executive produced, and stars in. Zak's dedication to health and fitness extends beyond personal practice. He developed the K2F Certification Program for trainers and instructors, in partnership with N.C.C.P.T. and I.S.S.A., available both in the U.S. and internationally. He's also the inventor and full patent holder of the X3S Bench, a revolutionary cross-training fitness bench now featured in top-tier gyms and homes around the world. Despite decades of success, Zak continues to train in Filipino Martial Arts under the legendary Guro Dan Inosanto and actively works as a stunt performer, action designer, and producer.
