Dan (Kevin Bacon) and Lorie (Elizabeth Perkins) are journalists working in the same office who can't seem to agree on anything. Deciding that their tension is "hot stuff," a television producer gives them their own program (called "He Said, She Sad") where they can give their opposing views on various issues.
