As everyone is preparing for the local parade, Luuk Vonk, obsessed with growing the world’s first black tulip, seems to finally have results.

Following the death of his father, Joeri is discharged from a psychiatric hospital. He soon makes it his mission to learn more about how Luuk died.

Henk discovers that Luuk really managed to breed a black tulip. Will the Vonks sell away Luuk’s life’s work to the competition?
