Junior is learning a new dance move from Remy at Kids’ Club. When Alma decides to join in on the dancing, Junior gets frustrated, because Alma keeps distracting him from learning the new steps. And while celebrating Papi’s birthday, Alma realizes that they’ve never celebrated Chacho’s birthday because they don’t know what day he was born. Alma is determined to pick a special day just for Chacho.

The Kids’ Club must vote on how to spend the money from Mrs. Ramirez’s donation. But when Alma wants everyone to vote for new board games and André wants new art supplies, it’s a tie! Who is the missing vote? Alma and Harper decide to open a lemonade stand on a hot day. But it gets to be too much work and too much of a mess when they add more and more drinks to their menu.

Alma invites Howard to play in the park’s drum circle. After searching for the perfect drum, Howard settles on a bucket drum. But when the bucket goes missing, what will he play? And Mami and Papi offer to give Alma and Junior toy tickets in exchange for doing extra work around the house. When Alma gets Junior to help her with a job, she pays him less than she got. Why does she feel bad?

Emi asks Alma to teach her how to be more like Alma. But when their new game, “The Two Almas,” gets old, Emi still won’t stop playing. Then, Alma and her friends are going to run the “world’s longest race” in the park, but it’s longer and harder than Alma thought. Should she finish the race?

When Alma thinks Howard is moving, she tells all her friends. Then, Alma wonders if she should just buy new materials for her recycled art project.
