Julie is stunned when her parents announce in mid-cruise that they're getting a divorce: a 13-year-old tomboy meets a boy and experiences the initial joy of love, and a pair of mature prudes fall madly in love while sharing the same cabin on the ABC Television Network's "The Love Boat," SATURDAY, SEPT. 23 (9:00-10:00 p.m., EDT).

A man makes a move on three women; not knowing that they are travelling companions. Captain Stubbing's god son is taking a cruise with his wife, whom he married two years ago but his military duty kept him away. And two brothers who stage false injuries, so that they can sue the insurance company, have targeted the cruise line.

In "Julie's Aunt," written by Barry Blitzer, Red Buttons portrays Capt. Stubing's Uncle Cyrus, who takes a shine to Julie and uses every trick in his devious mind to get Julie alone. Julie finally gets an assist from a surprising Aunt Phoebe.

A shy young man becomes a completely different person at night; a businessman who doesn't have time for his family learns a valuable lesson; a man who believes his chances of survival are better at sea than as a witness in a gangland trial receives loving sympathy from a fellow passenger.

In "Ship of Ghouls," The Amazing Alonzo (Price) fears that he is losing his power to mass-hypnotize audiences, a fact known only to his supportive fiancee, Ramona (Miss Blondell). Hurt when Alonzo keeps their relationship a secret in order to bolster his ego by dazzling a trio of lady passengers (Iris Adrian, Jane Kean and Bibi Osterwald), she turns to Capt. Stubing.

In "Accidental Cruise," written by Steve Hattman and Dave Hackel, the executive and his secretary come aboard a bit tipsy, are mistaken for another couple and assigned the honeymoon suite. In "The Song Is Ended," written by Lan O'Kun, a famous songwriter who lost his girl to his long-ago partner is instrumental in making the woman see her husband in a new light through his music.

A ghost (Jimmie Walker), husband-hunting for his widow (Vernee Watson of ABC's "Carter Country''), spots an attractive prospect (Greg Morris); remembered by the crew as a tubby youngster,

Sympathetic crew members stow away the ship engineer's family after he cancels vacation plans to work a Thanksgiving cruise. A minister falls in love with an exotic dancer under the disapproving eye of a church member, and a loving couple tries to adjust to the wife's advancing blindness.

Two swingers vie for cruise director Julie's affections, while a stunning female passenger falls in love with a stockbroker whose parents are little people. Plus, an auto-repair shop owner feels outclassed when he meets a movie star who happens to be one of his idols.

In "Isosceles Triangle, written by Mark Fink, Connie Stevens portrays the beauty who can't make up her mind when the captain and Doc both make a play for her.

In "Double Wedding," written by Ray Jessel, on the eve of their marriage ceremony, identical twin sisters come to the conclusion that each was really meant for the other's fiance and decide to take action to ensure long, happy marriages for all concerned.

In "Second Time Around," Betty Bricker's problems mount when the actor she has hired to pose as her fiance becomes serious about his shipboard role. In "The 'Now' Marriage," the counselor's wife seeks solace from Capt. Stubing as her husband pursues an attractive passenger (Phyllis Davis).

In "Gopher's Opportunity," written by Sue Masters and John Walsh, Gopher informs Capt. Stubing he is quitting his job after he is asked to become manager of a new resort hotel. In "Home Sweet Home," written by Ray Jessel and Natalie Schafer, a rich, gregarious widow has her furniture moved aboard, having booked passage for five years,

A charming widower (Robert Mandan of Soap') and his son (Randolph Mantooth) fall in love with the same girl (Cathy Lee Crosby); an easygoing bachelor (Roddy McDovali) becomes allergic to the idea of marrying his aggressive girlfriend (Tammy Grimes);

Julie and former classmate Joey (Lembeck), a disco dancer, discover that they are still romantically attracted to each other to the consternation of his current girlfriend-partner Sherry (Ms. Hartinon), in "Disco Baby," written by Ray Jessel. Julie ends up in the middle of an unusual love triangle when the visiting 13-year-old son of the head of the cruise line develops a crush on her at the same time that she is trying to win over a charming older passenger.

A singer tries to persuade his manager to let him abandon the shock tactics that made him famous and let his music speak for itself. He becomes even more determined to establish some credibility after he falls for a deaf friend of Julie's. Doc finds himself caught in the middle when an old friend grows tired of her inattentive husband's tendency to put gambling ahead of their relationship.
