Banished from the Hero's Party

Red heads for a mountain range called the Wall at the World's End with his lover Rit and sister Ruti. It was supposed to be an easy trip to get materials for an engagement ring to give to Rit, but...

Red and Rit reunite with Yarandrala and she suggests they move to the Kiramin Kingdom. Yarandrala's persistence on the subject leaves them a bit confused. Afterward, everyone takes a dip in the hot spring at Tisse's recommendation.

Cardinal Ljubo takes an interest in Zoltan's airship. Meanwhile, Zoltan is celebrating the Solstice Festival and it is bustling with activity. Red and his friends are enjoying the festival, but they come across a fight between some young people.

It's morning as usual. Ruti reconsiders her ordinary daily life that she had abandoned as a hero. That morning, Tisse seemed to be acting strangely. Ruti tries to ask her about the previous night, but...

Danan, who's been undergoing medical treatment, is on the mend. Before leaving town, Danan asks to arrange a deal with Red. Red readily accepts and a special training camp with the former hero party commences.

Van and the others are headed to Zoltan. If Ruti's existence should come to light, there could be trouble, so Red and Rit decide they should take Ruti on a trip.

While Red and his companions are vacationing in St. Durant, they receive word of an ogre king that attacked the village. When Red and his friends go looking, the situation turns out to be more serious than expected.

Tisse, who accompanied Van on his quest to defeat the hill giant, is shocked by Van's twisted sense of justice. His justice is directed at the Zoltan people who welcome the hero, and a large-scale commotion develops.

Van se met en route pour Zoltan, bien décidé à prendre sa revanche sur Ruti. Pour ne pas envenimer davantage la situation, Red tente de négocier avec les compagnons du Héros.

Ayant été démasqué par Lavender, Red se voit forcé d’adapter sa stratégie. Tant pis, il va révéler sa bénédiction à Van en espérant que cela l’aidera à prendre l’ascendant sur lui.

Privé des pulsions héroïques qui l’avaient guidé jusqu’alors, Van sombre peu à peu dans le doute. Albert se met en quête d’une petite fille perdue dans la forêt.

L’heure du duel a sonné. Tandis que le Héros et le Guide se lancent dans un affrontement sans merci, Lavender libère ses pouvoirs sans se soucier des conséquences.
