In the season seven premiere, Frank (WILLIAM H MACY) awakens from a coma to little fanfare from his family. And Fiona (EMMY ROSSUM) struggles to manage Patsy’s Pies.

To save Patsy’s Pies, Fiona hires a new staff, while Frank constructs a new wall to reclaim the upstairs part of the Gallagher house. And Carl recovers from his circumcision.

Left without a place to sleep after the shelter closes, Frank gathers a new Gallagher clan and home. Fiona struggles with putting out fires – both at work and at home.

Worried that his new family will lose their new shelter, Frank plans some goodwill for the neighborhood. Fiona drums up business by throwing a speakeasy party at the restaurant.

Frank learns that a billionaire philanthropist has bought the shelter allowing him and his clan to stay. Fiona gets financial advice from a Tinder hookup.

Fiona decides to invest in the Laundromat, while Frank revels in his latest scam and Kev (STEVE HOWEY) and V (SHANOLA HAMPTON) discover a shocking secret about Svetlana’s father.

Frank helps Liam get into a plush new school after his old one is shut down. Meanwhile, Debbie (EMMA KENNEY) cleans up her act for her review and grows closer to Neil.

Having used up all of her money to buy the Laundromat, Fiona takes on DIY renovations. Meanwhile, Lip agrees to go before the school board in hopes of getting reinstated.

Monica’s back to help Debbie get back Franny. Meanwhile, Frank tries to avoid her, Ian has his first fight with Trevor, and Lip tries to mask his relapsing alcoholism.

While Fiona contemplates Margo’s offer on the Laundromat, Ian wrestles with the reality that Mickey (NOEL FISHER) might actually be out of prison and on the lam.
