It’s 13 months later and Saga is back to work, but missing her trusted partner and friend, Martin. When a well-known figure is found murdered, Saga will have to work with a new Danish partner, Hanne, who butts heads with Saga.

With Hanne off the case, Saga gets a new Danish colleague, Henrik, and together they continue to investigate the murder. When another equally detailed murder occurs, suspicions turn to a Danish blogger. Saga makes a shocking discovery about Hans.

Saga and the police receive a video about Hans, but when they proceed they discover things are not as they seem. The police continue to pursue blogger Lise as a lead in the murder case. Outside of work, someone close to Saga returns to her life.

Saga and Henrik manage to arrest someone after a hostage situation. When a fourth elaborate murder is discovered, they realize they might have made a mistake and continue searching for a link between the victims. Saga and Henrik get closer.

A key clue is discovered on Hans. Saga’s new boss, Linn, questions her actions and starts limiting her responsibilities, which makes Saga start to doubt herself. Linn starts investigating Saga’s past and Henrik steps up for his partner.

Saga and Henrik discover a link between the victims and artwork in a museum, producing another potential suspect. When a fifth murder is staged, the investigation becomes even more complicated. Saga is dealt two blows in her personal life.
