Amanda throws a party to celebrate her purchase of the Melrose building and moves into Rhonda's vacant apartment after she leaves.

Alison refuses to believe Billy's suspicions that Keith is her stalker. But when she goes to Keith's room to tell him good-bye, he gets violent.

A revenge-seeking Billy tracks Keith to Seattle and warns him to leave Alison alone. After Billy leaves, Keith makes a drastic decision.

Jake's motorcycle shop burns down while he's out with Amanda, and both the insurance agency and Jo are suspicious as to the cause of the fire.

When Jake realizes that he accidentally caused the fire, he gets upset and trashes Jo's apartment, forcing her to ask him to move out.

Jake moves back into his old apartment, and Billy and Alison try to get him and Jo back together. Later, conflicts arise between Jake, Jo and Amanda.

Alison travels to meet with a reclusive entrepreneur. Jane assures Robert of her love and throws Sydney out of her apartment.

After finding out that Steve was in San Francisco with Alison, Billy breaks up with her and becomes roommates with Jake.

Billy and his magazine colleague are assigned an article on video dating. Alison goes to visit Steve and tells him they can't see each other anymore.

On Christmas Eve, Alison attempts to make up with Billy, who starts to have feelings for her again. Jane leaves Michael in the care of a tough nurse.

Jo goes to her 10-year high school reunion and meets Reed Carter, a former boyfriend who tells her that he was imprisoned for drug trafficking.

When Sydney hires a prostitute to seduce Robert during a vacation in San Diego, she videotapes it, and Michael mails the tape to Jane.

Michael rejects Sydney, who tells Jane that he blackmailed her. Sydney also tells Jane about the prostitution charges she's facing.

Michael tries to make up with Jane, who's filed a restraining order against his phone calls. He also starts becoming addicted to his painkillers.

Matt helps Jeffrey come out, which results in Jeffrey getting a transfer to the East Coast, so they must bid each other a proper farewell.

Sydney starts blackmailing Michael with the blood alcohol-changing scam by moving in with him and announcing that she's his new girlfriend.

When Jo is arrested for Reed's murder, she tries to tell the skeptical police and the prosecutor that she wasn't involved in Reed's drug dealing.

When Amanda calls Alison's engagement ring cheap, Alison and Billy go shopping for a real diamond. Jo learns she's pregnant with Reed's baby.

A suspicious Matt sets out to find Michael, who's on his honeymoon camping trip with Sydney and waiting for the perfect time to murder her.

When Jane's grandmother dies, she travels to Chicago to receive her $100,000 inheritance so she can start her own clothing business.
