Ziggy and The Zoo Tram

Shackleton’s big dream is to fly through the air like Brian’s kite, but he is a penguin and penguins don’t fly. Ziggy figures out a way to make his dream come true: he makes a special kite-kit to help Shackleton soar to new heights.

Tonight is a very special night: the moon is completely pink. Flora says it’s a ‘Flamingo Moon’ and when it occurs, everyone is supposed to dance the night away. Ziggy has stage fright: he is insecure when it comes to dancing, and retires to the workshop to fix up the tram.

Ziggy has a new invention: a ‘Turbo Booster’, to make the tram even more powerful and go even faster. Without asking Ziggy, Scotty installed the tram’s Turbo Booster on his toy scooter. The scooter is now way too powerful and Scotty, Shackleton, and Tony crash land on the beach, leaving them stranded.

On their way back home from the Zoo, Ziggy and his friends find a little crocodile, who got lost in the sewers. Ziggy wants to take care of this little fellow that he calls ‘Wheeker’.

Bunburry listens to the tennis cup finals on the tram radio. But there is so much noise everywhere: the young penguins are racing on their scooters, Flora is blasting her music on her phone, Ziggy is working on the tram’s engine, Brian is bouncing his ball, and Lionel and Tony are cracking jokes... And that’s without mentioning the grouchy wild bear.

Mr. Timmers’ house had a fresh paint job, so he joins the animals to sleep over at the Crater. The penguins decide it’s time to pull some good old pranks on the rest of the gang: they put salt in Lionel’s coffee, sabotage the tram, put a smelly fish in Miss Emily’s garden, and much more.

After seeing a movie at the Tram-cinema, Ziggy and his friends decide to make a scary movie themselves. They have to make a story, decide who will direct, who takes on which role, and who will play the fierce monster.

One of the beams of the Mountain Bridge is broken, so Ziggy and Bunbury need to go and repair it. Amy joins them. She is a young, small penguin, but that doesn’t hold her back. She learns all about the tram, how to drive it, and how to handle the levers and handles that control the extensions.

While repairing the tram in the Workshop, Ziggy meets a snail. He names this silent snail ‘Stanley’ and shows him around the tram. Ziggy talks about his friends and shares stories about the gang.

The tram is broken and the animals are stuck in the Zoo for the night. Mister Timmers, the Zookeeper, didn’t really know the tram had additional transformations other than the ice-cream stand. One by one, the animals tell him all about what the tram can do and what their favourite ‘tramsformation’ is.

On the way back to the Crater, Scotty realizes he lost his ‘pet rock’, George. Without George, Scotty can’t get to sleep. Miss Emily tries to comfort him, but when they arrive at the Crater, George is still missing. Scotty goes to Ziggy for help, and together they depart on a nocturnal rescue mission to find George.

The public has to choose a ‘Favorite Animal’ in the Zoo. All the animals are convinced they have what it takes to be crowned ‘Favourite Animal’. Ziggy is unsure about himself and thinks no one will vote for him. He secretly takes off to go live ‘in the wild’, since he thinks no kid really likes him.

Brian is a bit sad. He is tired of playing basketball on his own. The others challenge him, but they are all no match for a superstar-baller like Brian. Nobody can beat him, but he really needs some competition to regain his love for the game.

For a couple of days there has been a big boulder on the track. Ziggy and the others enjoy using the tram’s transformations to jump, fly and crawl over it. But Bunbury doesn’t like this one bit and has had enough: the boulder should be removed. But how will Ziggy and his friends get rid of it?

On the way home, Ziggy and the others discover an old tram, abandoned in the Jungle. They tow the tram to the Crater and Ziggy goes to work. The next day he presents the fruits of his labour to the others: he has made a ‘super-bi-plane’. Bunbury prefers the good old tram, so Ziggy challenges him to a race to the Zoo!

Lionel boasts about how nothing scares him, the King of the Jungle. Not even a T-Rex! The others also claim not to be afraid of dinosaurs. Ziggy and Bunbury decide to pull a prank on them and test this so called fearlessness.

When the gang gathers at the station to leave for the Zoo, the tram inexplicably springs to life and escapes from the Crater on its own. Luckily, Ziggy made a special pump cart for Bunbury and Brian to use for fun. Now, they must use the pump cart to catch the run-away tram.

It’s Spring Cleaning Day and all the animals help Mr.Timmers to clean the Zoo. The tram suffers a mechanical failure, forcing the animals to also spend the night at the Zoo. Shackleton has fun playing his alter ego, the Phantom Flipper. He accidentally drops his torch into the Sewers.

On the way home, the penguins are playing with Flora’s phone. Unknowingly, they order a whole bunch of toy penguins online. The next day there is a mysterious crate sitting on the beach. How did it get there? Whose is it? And what’s inside?

It’s wintertime, and Bunbury is getting sleepy. It’s time for his hibernation and Ziggy will take over the daily drive to the Zoo and back. Everything seems normal, but then strange things start happening at night.

It’s Games-day! Ziggy and his friends will play various games in the Crater, but first they need to decide who will be the ‘Games Master’. After a vote, Shackleton wins and receives the games-whistle. He makes the others compete in various games, and everyone seems to excel sooner or later, except Scotty.

Shackleton and Scotty leave Amy behind during a game of hide and seek. Amy explains the situation to Ziggy, who is working on the tram in the workshop. Ziggy just invented a ‘voice-morpher’ and together they decide to prank the others, and teach Shackleton and Scotty a lesson.

Ziggy made delicious cookies for all his friends. Tony is about to start eating his cookies, when a bunch of hungry seagulls show up. Tony decides to share his cookies with these new ‘friends’. Bad call. Now the seagulls will not leave Tony alone. Ziggy needs to come up with a plan to get rid of these cookie-obsessed seagulls.

There was a bad storm and the Dam and Sewers were flooded. Ziggy and the others need to fly to the Zoo, but once they get there, they notice the Zoo is invaded by a colony of spiders from the Sewers. They need to get these spiders out of there so they can open the Zoo again, but how?
