Bear Grylls: Survival School

Bear Grylls teaches ten young students how to cope in the wild. First, they head to a remote island where they must fend for themselves overnight.

The competition heats up as the camp splits into two teams - girls versus boys.

The young survivors face a terrifying trust exercise, and later learn about camouflage.

The students tackle their first mountain in North Wales - and get a rude awakening.

The youngsters face their biggest challenge yet as they train to jump from a helicopter hovering over a quarry.

The kids must eat maggots found in a rotting dead rabbit and climb an ancient slate wall. Meanwhile, there are also challenges within the group as they compete for the role of leader.

Callum, Abbie and Jasmine all become ill, leaving the rest of the survival students to battle it out in a raft challenge and cliff climb.

A fierce storm strikes the survival school, and the pupils are evacuated. Determined to prove their bravery, they attempt a daring rope crossing between two cliffs. However, when they have to cross a fast-moving river to get back to camp, disaster strikes for one of the teams.

The pupils attempt a "panther crawl" across a raging river, before going head-to-head building a shelter. However, when Josh takes a tumble, all seems lost for the boys. However, a phone call home manages to heal some wounds.

Bear's survivalists take part in the decisive round of the competition between the boys and girls, pitting them against icy water, jagged rocks, leaps of faith and churning currents.

The students set out on their final expedition, climbing to the summit of Mount Cnicht in North Wales, where they must put the skills developed over the course of the series to use.

Bear's pupils wake from a less-than-restful night's sleep on the side of a mountain and must pull together as a team to ensure they cross the final obstacles between them and the summit of Mount Cnicht, earning their graduation from Survival School.
