Remington Steele

Mildred's idea to fly the newlyweds to the lush resort of Las Hadas backfires when reservations are mislaid, guerrillas threaten, and Laura and Remington are forced to make their way alone through the jungle.

When skeptical immigration agent Keyes sees through Remington's marriage scheme, all evidence points to the dapper detective when Keyes is found dead at his feet.

Soon after arriving in Los Angeles, Remington is set upon by the passionate Shannon, a shady lady who cares little about his pretense of a wedding, or Laura's jealous fury.

The newlywed Steeles arrive in England in time to learn of Roselli's concocted story, as well as his evidence proving the Steeles' marriage is a fraud. With Remington's reluctant cooperation, Roselli plans to score points with his secret government bosses. Meanwhile, Remington learns that he is in line for some windfall profits of his own.

The Steeles are delighted at the prospect of becoming landed gentry but they soon learn they have inherited a monstrous white-elephant castle, complete with con-man Daniel Chalmers, a loyal 'chief of security.'

Roselli needs Remington's help as he is hunted by the Russians (with the secretive Chalmers' aid) who believe him to be a dual agent. All of this complicates matters as the Steeles try to savor their first night of connubial bliss.
