Michael and Jay are reeling from the fact that Jr. is going to be a father. Michael gives Jr. a job at the family business so he can support his new family, and he's hard on Jr. to remind him of his new responsibilities.

Michael sees his once-bald friend, Jimmy, with a full head of hair, prompting him to start taking the same hair-growth pills as his buddy, but he increases the dosage, resulting in unusual side effects.

Michael wants Jr. to learn the family business, starting at the bottom, so he assigns Jr. menial duties. Jr. decides to use the fact that he's the boss's son to convince other employees to do his work for him.

Jay decides to go to college to study psychology and drives everyone in the house crazy with her new-found knowledge; Jr.'s well-meaning buddies, John and Mike, decide to transform his old baby crib into a hip, new machine.

Michael and Jay must figure out a way to stand up to Vanessa's parents, who are trying to bully them into buying things that will benefit them, not the baby.

Despite their best efforts, Michael and Jay are still concerned that Jr. has no idea of what being a father entails. So they give him a water balloon that he must treat as a real baby.

Jr. restores his prized car, but then he and Vanessa surprise everyone when they decide to sell it in order to have money for the baby; Franklin seeks advice from Michael on how to act more like a normal kid.

The day after an anti-wrinkle injection goes awry for Michael and he ends up with an unnatural expression, he has to fight a traffic ticket in court. Angered by his grin, the judge grin sentences Michael to a night in jail.

Michael scores a ticket to see basketball star LeBron James play, and he becomes paranoid when, days before the game, everyone - except Michael - catches the flu. He goes to absurd extremes to keep from getting ill.

Vanessa's father has an argument with his wife and gets kicked out of the house, so he moves in with the Kyles, against their wishes. He's soon eating everything in sight and keeps everyone awake with his loud snoring.

When Vanessa's dad, Calvin, begs Michael to give him a job, Michael does so reluctantly and his worst fears are realized. Calvin's way of dealing with customers and merchandise leaves a little to be desired.

Michael plans a romantic evening with Jay at an exclusive hotel. When Jr. mistakenly cancels the reservation, Michael tries to create a romantic night at home, but things take a disastrous turn.

Michael accidentally records over a home video of Kady's first steps, which is one of Jay's most cherished family moments. So Michael enlists Franklin's help to re-enact that moment of Kyle family history.
