Legendary Motorcars

Pete is tipped off about a 1937 Packard sitting in a farmer's shed a couple of hours from the shop. It could be a great buy, but if the farmer decides not to sell it, or if the engine fails, it will be a waste of time, and money.

Between having a top client race a Cobra built by Legendary Motorcar Company visit and entering a Boss 429 into the Shelby Convention at Watkins Glen, opportunities for business, and headaches, abound for Peter.

Upon hearing about a very rare 1955 Aston Martin race car in Oklahoma, Pete travels there and discovers that it is a heavyweight car that will likely command top price. While working on the deal, Peter receives a call from the shop.

One of Pete's top clients walks into Legendary Motorcar Company and wants to do a deal. This is a common occurrence, but as Pete and Mark begin to chop it up, Pete realizes that this is not turning out to be a typical transaction.

Peter meets a potential customer who may be interested in a 1956 T-Bird. The deal goes smoothly, but before the deal is finalized, the new customer insists that a few tweaks are added to the car, conditions that may prove problematic.

Legendary Motorcar receives a call from a large charity looking to find two cars for an event. When the deal stalls, Pete brings in a world-famous Corvette racer who might help Pete finalize a deal. Pete also meets a unique local mechanic.

The guys restore a 1970 Boss 302, a superb car by any standards, but its history is what is fascinating, proving that some car enthusiasts will spare no expense to find their first love. Also, check out Ford's latest mighty Boss cars.

The guys decide to build a race car to enter an event with North America's premiere crapcan racing organization, The Chump Car World Series, where grassroots gearheads from across America descend upon the track at Nelson Ledges.

A highly sought-after car appears at Legendary Motorcar- a 1957 Mercedes Benz 300SL. It is owned by the BASF corporation that wants the car to be restored in a short span of time. The task requires extensive research, and a trip to Europe.

Peter travels to North Carolina to check out a new player in the classic car auction world. While there, he calls an old contact who ends up sending Pete to meet some guys whose car collections are buried deep in Carolina car culture.

Peter is invited by the guys at the SRT Viper Cup Series to travel to New York State and race at Monticello, something he is honored to take part in. The big question is, can Peter compete against teams that do this every weekend?
