Michael and Logan try to fool Miss Burvitch, the housing lady in order to avoid getting a new roommate. Meanwhile, Zoey accidentally gets Coco fired and tries to help her get her job back.

The kids have fun on an empty campus after their spring-break trip is canceled, but the good times come to an end when the principal accuses the boys of vandalism.

Michael and Logan's new roommate turns out to be a good-looking new student at PCA. He quickly becomes a celebrity among the girls, to Logan's dislike. Soon a rumor surfaces that James and Zoey are dating. Now they must uncover who started the rumor.

Logan sends Dustin an irate voice mail which earns him a spot in anger management classes. He tries to avoid attending by remaining calm, but Zoey has other ideas.

Quinn and Mark agree to take a break from each other, but Quinn becomes upset when she sees him with another girl. Quinn unexpectedly finds comfort in Logan, which leads to them sharing a kiss. Meanwhile, a horse begins following Michael around campus.

Zoey returns to PCA to talk to Chase. However, she soon discovers that he has recently transferred to England to be with her. After Chase and Zoey meet through video chat, Chase reveals that he has to stay in London for at least one full semester.

Zoey tries to help Lola come up with the cash she pledged for a walk-a-thon sponsorship after they meet the charity's stern organizer. Meanwhile, Quinn and Logan start to get closer, but try to keep it a secret.

The gang is surprised to find that former bully, Vince Blake is back at PCA. The girls decide to just ignore him, which is harder for some than others, but the guys think it's time for some revenge.

Zoey wants James all to herself, but finding some alone time is easier said than done. Meanwhile, Quinn and Logan decide to go out as a couple, but they too find a crowd instead.

Dean Rivers bans coffee carts on campus after an accident involving his wife, resulting in a war of the sexes when the girls and guys each try to come up with a scheme to circumvent the new rule.

The gang goes on a class field trip to take a spin on a roller coaster, but there are plenty of downs for Michael, who must confront his major fear of them.
