In the dunes of occupied Timbuktu, Kidane lives peacefully with his wife, daughter and their shepherd. In town, people suffer powerlessly from a terror regime imposed by Jihadists; each day the court system issues tragic and absurd sentences. Kidane and his family have been spared from chaos, but their destiny changes abruptly.
