In the season five premiere, the Liars deal with the aftermath of Alison's revelations and Ezra's shooting and realize "A" is closer than ever.

Ali's homecoming is not so happy and the girls are on edge as questions arise regarding the whereabouts of Mrs. DiLaurentis (ANDREA PARKER).

Alison struggles with the death of her mother, as the Liars try to navigate through her new lie and cover their tracks. Hanna starts to examine who she really is.

The girls continue to feel the pressure at school and from Ali, as she attempts to regain the role of group leader, and Mona makes plans for Ali's return to Rosewood High.

Ready or not, it's Alison's first day back at Rosewood High and Mona and her army are ready. Meanwhile, Caleb and an old foe return to Rosewood. This is the series' 100th episode.

Alison is spooked after the most recent Rosewood "accident" and wonders if she should have come back after all. Caleb also starts second-guessing his return.

Aria looks for answers at Radley. Spencer borrows some of Ezra's spy equipment to keep a closer eye on the home front. Hanna is caught at odds when Ali and Caleb butt heads.

Alison moves in with Hanna, which pushes Hanna further down a dark path. Spencer and Emily pursue a dangerous lead, trying to solve the mystery of the dead girl in Alison's grave.

Hanna hits rock bottom, Emily tries to find information linking Alison to Noel (BRANT DAUGHERTY), Spencer makes a surprising discovery and Aria takes note of Zack (STEVE TALLEY).

Alison's games may have pushed her friends too far when an innocent man's life is put in the balance, so Spencer comes up with a plan B.

Melissa's secrets are finally revealed and Hanna demands the truth about Ravenswood from Caleb. Plus, Emily is on the hunt for answers of her own and enlists Ezra's help.

Feeling trapped by Alison and "A," Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer take a leap of faith and turn to an unlikely person for help. Meanwhile, Alison begins to build up her own army.

With Christmas approaching Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer look to clear Spencer's name. Alison gets a glimpse at the past, present and future by a ghostly presence.

It's been three months and Mona's friends and family still mourn as they search for evidence to prove Alison killed Mona. Emily and Paige (LINDSEY SHAW) reach a crossroads.

Toby's (KEEGAN ALLEN) job in the Rosewood police department puts him and Spencer at odds when new evidence appears. Emily and Aria struggle with situations out of their control.

Secrets abound for Aria, Hanna and Spencer while Emily tries to let go of Paige (LINDSEY SHAW). Caleb helps Spencer search for Mona's missing laptop.

Hanna takes fate into her own hands and strikes out alone to clear her name in Mona's murder. Meanwhile, relationships are tested when Aria comes clean to Ezra.

When Mona's friend Lesli (ELIZABETH McLAUGHLIN) comes to town, Hanna tries to find out her back story. Aria becomes concerned about Mike's (CODY ALLEN CHRISTIAN) recent behavior.

The girls' academic future takes center stage as college pressures mount. Meanwhile, the Liars try to keep tabs on Mike (CODY ALLEN CHRISTIAN).

Mike's (CODY ALLEN CHRISTIAN) suspicious behavior suggests a chilling connection to Mona's death. What Aria discovers makes her blood run cold. Hanna asks Emily for help.

Determined to keep Mike (CODY ALLEN CHRISTIAN) safe and get Ali out of jail, the Liars intensify the search for information on "A." Spencer heads to London for a college interview.

The girls scramble for evidence as Alison contemplates a plea deal that would incriminate one of the PLLs. Spencer gets a much-needed break with a night out on the town in London.

As Alison's trial begins, the once-confident Queen Bee is no longer sure of her fate as testimonies reveal lies and more lies. The PLLs follow up on possible clues left by Mona.

As Alison's trial comes to a close, the outcome looks even more bleak when the prosecution calls a surprise witness who shakes the PLLs to the core. A's game heats up.

In the season finale, "A" has always had fun playing with Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer; now "they" have a big game in store for the girls. Can the Liars survive this plAydate?
