Bjørn is called in to the morgue to identify a woman's body and is horrified to find that it is his own daughter. However, when the autopsy rules her death to be suicide, he refuses to believe it.

Bjorn is led to a luxury apartment where he encounters an unknown woman, who unravels the mysterious and criminal life of his deceased daughter.

Bjorn visits a brothel to find the woman who introduced his daughter to the lifestyle that led her into a world of parties, drugs, sex and fast cash.

Bjorn meets an infamous criminal club owner who confronts him with the fact that his daughter was not the innocent girl that Bjorn remembers.

The evidence leads to Bjorn's former partner, a corrupt police officer. Bjørn knows that he met his daughter on the night she died, and tries to separates the lies from the truth.

Bjørn interrogates his main suspect at gunpoint, only to realise that the man meant more to Bjørn's daughter than he could have imagined, and that he himself is not guilt-free in her death. Original title: Forhoret
