Does God Love Women? portrays Hilligje Kok, a deeply religious but free spirited woman in Staphorst, a village located in the Dutch "Bible Belt". With passion and humor, Hilligje seeks to improve the position of women within her church as well as in the orthodox Christian political party SGP.
