Lisa is devastated when she loses her job; Dan thinks it’s the perfect opportunity to start a family, but Lisa wants to find a new job straight away. Bianca is similarly in a funk without money or a man in her life, and Charlie worries that Pauline doesn’t want to get married after all. Perhaps the wild housewarming party thrown by new tenants Tanya and Bradley will cheer everyone up.

The Johnson family eagerly prepares for Lisa to give birth, but the arrival in the neighborhood of Dan’s wayward brother, Robbie, throws them for a loop.

Enjoying motherhood but missing her career, Lisa wonders whether she can really have it all, while Dan tries to get to the bottom of why his brother is really back.

Bored being out of work, Lisa starts to drive Dan up the wall. Fergus approaches Denise with an offer to be his right-hand woman in his new business venture, but Denise has her sights set on something more exciting than office work. A planned couples’ dinner turns more intimate when both Lisa and Bradley bail, leaving Dan and Tanya to get better acquainted by themselves.

Greg watches over Tanya and Ella in Bradley’s absence. Lisa returns to work after maternity leave, and Dan takes on his brother as an apprentice.

Lisa dives headfirst into the hunt for a new office, but her wishes might be too grand. Bradley makes a discovery that prompts a big argument with his wife. Greg makes a dangerous deal, encouraged by his new girlfriend, Amber, and Denise and Fergus reach a turning point in their relationship.

With Lisa working long days to get the business off the ground, Dan is starting to feel a bit lonely and neglected. When he runs into Tanya at a pub, will a night of drinks and friendly conversation get out of hand? In other romances, Charlie and Pauline don’t see eye to eye about the wedding, while Fergus and Denise decide to move in together.

The conflict between Lisa and Angie comes to a head, and Greg is forced to come clean to Tanya and Ella about the danger they might be in.

A Johnson clan dinner-party turns sour when the terrible truth about what Robbie has really been doing for the past eight years is finally revealed.

Dan acts weirdly around Lisa and her father, Barry, after they return from Spain, so she plans a cozy night in to reconnect with her husband. Meanwhile, Bianca decides to help Charlie with his wedding planning, and Greg gets sucked deeper into drug dealing. As Tanya confesses her indiscretion to Bradley, his reaction is the polar opposite of Lisa’s when she receives similar news.

With everyone still reeling from Robbie’s revelations, Lisa and Dan try to heal the rift between him and Pauline.

Lisa interrogates Dan about what exactly happened between him and Tanya. As she sorts through her feelings, Dan tries to reach out to Greg for support, but his best mate is mysteriously in Glasgow. Fergus grows more jealous of Denise’s modeling gig, which isn’t going as well as he thinks, whereas Bianca’s wedding planning for Charlie proves so successful, she considers making it a new career.

Eager to escape an overcompensating Pauline, Barry decides to spend the day with the baby but winds up on an unlikely adventure with Terry and Roger.

Lisa and Dan are well and truly on the outs, which makes Dan not the best company at his dad’s stag party at the pub. Charlie is upset by Dan’s lack of effort, but when the whole gang shows up to celebrate, they all have a great time—until Pauline’s hen party stops by as well, and Lisa clashes with Tanya.

It’s Pauline and Charlie’s wedding day, and the bride seems less excited than Bianca, who flutters about, making sure everything is perfect. Meanwhile, Lisa and Dan are far from enjoying a state of marital harmony, which is further complicated when Lisa learns big news. The ceremony goes smoothly, but the reception is another matter, as the police arrive to crash the party.

Tanya and Ella throw a farewell party that turns dangerous, and the residents of Mount Pleasant must put aside their differences to try to save their loved ones.
