Escape from Scorpion Island

After an adrenaline-fuelled arrival onto to Scorpion Island by sky dive 4000m high, our ten new intrepid adventurers won't have a moment to rest. The Island reveals a secret that it's been keeping for an eternity, five stone Scorpions. Legend has it that five ancient adventurers tried to conquer the Island but the Island was livid and turned them to stone so that they could never escape.

With two of the Powers - Bravery and Speed - already won, the remaining six Adventurers, already tired from their supercharged time on the Island, must battle it out for the remaining Powers. There's controversy in the Battle for Strength, while the Battle for Balance takes place on precarious wires across a ravine a staggering five storeys high.

With four of the powers - Bravery, Speed, Strength and Balance - awarded to eight of the Adventurers, only the Island knows what this will mean for the remaining two without a power. The first Power Captains face a tough choice when the Adventurers are divided into team Sting and Team Claw.

The Stamina Power Captains can only watch on while their teams play Reckless Ravine for the very first Sands of Time, but only one team will emerge victorious. The Island is more devious than ever, and reveals a new type of challenge, the Totem Trial.

The Island challenges the adventurers in the Power of Balance. In The Battle for the Powers, the battle for Balance was hard fought but evenly matched, with Brandon pushing himself to his limits and beating fierce competitor Janardan.

After team Sting took on Human Viaduct, it's now Brandon's turn to lead Claw in the Totem Trial. Team Sting already have one Totem Power Piece - can Brandon triumph and make the score even?

Emotions run high as the Power Captains are pushed to the limits of their ability when the Island challenges Sting and Claw in the Power of Strength. Claw must win if they are to keep up with the mighty Sting and Power Captain Harriet is feeling weighed down by the pressure.

A determined Harriet leads her team in Pyramid Puzzle and she displays her prowess as Power Captain, despite her earlier upset in the Island Challenge. In the second round of Danger Dunk Claw and Sting are pushed to their limits when the Island Challenges them in the Power of Strength.

Speed Captains Brontë and Shya must step up and lead their teams against the Island. Shya, however, must first overcome the fear of heights that knocked her confidence in Reckless Ravine, when she represents her team in today's Island Challenge, Tracks of Terror, where the Adventurers must cross ravine more than five storeys high.

Brontë must reverse Sting's fortunes in the Totem Trial, In the Dark. However, after a third consecutive Claw Totem victory, Shya announces that she'd like to see opposing team Sting make the Totem Trials more of a challenge, resulting in consternation at Sting's Tree Camp.

Scorpion Island challenges the Adventurers in the fifth power, Bravery. Competitive Abbey, who has played for Claw in every Island Challenge so far, must face the resilient Maddy one versus one in the terrifying Pendulum.

After a revolting appetiser of crickets and ants for Sting and Claw, it's time for Bravery Power Captains Abbey and Maddy to take the baton and tuck into a main course of Scorpions in Bugs Banquet and it will take a true feat of Bravery for Maddy to turn Sting's Totem fortunes around.

After the Island laid down the gauntlet to Sting and Claw by swapping Speed Power Captains Shya and Brontë, it's now time for the girls to settle into their new teams. To make their journey much tougher, the Island decides that they must lead their new teams into battle when it challenges the Adventurers in the Power of Speed.

With fierce competition comes fierce rivalry and Brontë's seemingly innocuous chant becomes a fiery catalyst and the two teams argue when it is sung again by Claw. The Totem Trial, Pop, is strongly contested but can Claw reign supreme?

Super confident Janardan leads Sting against the newly invigorated Claw when the Island challenges the Adventurers in the Power of Balance. Fun-loving Brandon, meanwhile, needs to focus if he's going to keep up the momentum of Claw's winning streak up and reduce Sting's lead.

It's Claws turn to take on Heavyweight, and it's up to Brandon to take the lead and ensure that his team are communicating effectively. After another Claw Totem victory, the devious Island decides not to announce which team has won the Power Piece.

The team members of Sting and Claw must face each other in the first round of the Island Challenge, Perilous Puzzle. Sting have proved that they still have the power to dominate the Island, and now Harriet must go head with Michael when the Island challenges the Adventurers in the Power of Strength.

The Adventurers prove their might in Suspension, the toughest Totem Trial yet, where Claw prove themselves worthy adversaries for both Sting and the Island. When the Power Captains, Harriet and Michael, face each other in the second round of Perilous Puzzle, their mental dexterity and physical strength are put to the test.

Now that the Island has revealed the true meaning of the Totem Power Pieces and their crucial role in the final climb, the Adventurers realise that Claw have a clear advantage with their six Power Pieces to Sting's two.

After Claw's decisive comeback, Stamina Power Captain Rachael must hang on to her team's winning streak in the stomach churning, gravity defying Bone Collector. Meanwhile Sting start to worry about Claw's lead in the Totem Trials and start training in preparation for the final climb.

Scorpion Island is furious. The countdown to the great escape has begun and now the Island wants to show the adventurers who's boss. It's fed up with Sting and Claw's incredible spirit and has sent a torrential rainstorm down to batter the Adventurers, to break their spirit, but Abbey and Maddy are ready for the Power Captains' face-off.

Sting brim with confidence after their win in the Totem Trial, but they must still win the final Sands of Time. Claw meanwhile, must do everything they can to defeat Sting and reduce their Time advantage in the final Race to Escape.

The final race to escape begins. All of the five Powers - Strength, Balance, Stamina, Bravery and Speed - will be tested. However, the Island will do everything it can to hinder Sting and Claw's efforts, and before they can even contemplate the exhausting climb up Freedom Rock, it throws some obstacles in their path.

Sting and Claw are close to the finishing line. The teams have decided their order of ascent and must face the Speed and Bravery climb up Freedom Rock. It's the toughest challenge they've had yet but each adventurer must conquer the arduous cliff face if their team's bid for escape and freedom from the Island is to be successful.

The race to escape continues. A helicopter arrives to take the winners back to civilisation. Sting are in pole position, they have the current advantage, but Claw are snapping at their heels. It could all hinge on one mistake. Now, Maddy must face Harriet and Rachael must then face Janardan. But only one team can take the final advantage into the last, and most crucial climb of all.
