After Buzzsaw injures a water dragon, the Riders go against their parents' wishes and 'borrow' a bathysphere to travel to the deepest part of the Giant Realm Sea to rescue it.

When Phil threatens to shut down D'Angelo's new dragon hospital and ban dragons from ICARIS, D'Angelo and a little Hobgobbler try to change his mind.

While Tom struggles with admitting his feelings for Jun, the pair find themselves trapped inside a giant tree with an anxious colony of Woodchipper dragons.

Thunder must wrangle and lead the Hero Dragons in a desperate attempt to save Tom and the Riders from a dangerous new dragon, the Glass Caster.

Jun does a tarot reading for the team and she interprets its meaning to be that the Riders will disband.

With the Dragon Riders disbanded, Eugene attempts to cure his boredom by roping in other members of ICARIS to join his new dragon club.

In need of some alone time, Alex heads to the Hidden World on her own to try to find a place away from the rest of the Dragon Riders; she ends up getting captured by Buzzsaw.

Tom and the Dragon Riders must overcome their differences as they race to find an elusive, dangerous dragon in the Dark Realm before Buzzsaw can get to it.
