Fireman Sam

After a sailing lesson, Norman thinks he's the best sailor ever and takes Dilys out for a pleasure cruise. Dilys and Norman soon become stranded with only one oar out at sea. Charlie heads to the rescue but crashes into the Skiff leaving everyone floating rudderless. Penny and Sam rescue Charlie, Norman and Dilys. Back on dry land Norman resolves to do something safer next time, like fly a kite.

Norman is devastated when Trevor accidentally runs over his skateboard. Meanwhile, at the fire station, Tom is teaching the team how to abseil. At the wishing well Norman has become trapped while trying to collect the coins so he can buy himself a new skateboard. Sam uses his abseiling skills to rescue Norman. Trevor presents him with a new skateboard to replace the one he destroyed.

When Elvis breaks his leg, he starts to wonder if he's really cut out to be a fireman. Norman and Steele managed to get their heads stuck in the railings. Penny and Sam are occupied saving Mike who slipped while mending the aerial on the roof. It's up to Elvis to wheel himself to the rescue Norman and Steele. It seems that Elvis does have what it takes to be a fireman after all.

While out playing hide & seek with Norman, Mandy finds a distress flare. Norman is eager to set it off, but Mandy is reluctant. Penny is stranded on the cliff having got trapped while abseiling. Mandy throws the flare to Penny who sets it off, raising the alarm. Sam, Elvis and Tom race to the rescue. Mandy is crowned a hero for not wasting the flare and Norman admits she was right from the start.

Everyone is excited about the Pontypandy Flower and Vegetable show. Mike is entering his squash. But he is so busy that he doesn't heed Sam's advice about turning over his compost heap regularly to keep it from overheating. Eventually air gets into the heap and starts a fire! Sam and Penny race to the rescue. With the fire out, Sam gets down to judging and Steele gets a very unexpected prize!

While driving the children back from a school trip, Trevor gets the bus stuck in a bog. Against everyone's advice, he decides to go out and find help but becomes stuck in the bog himself! Sam, Elvis and Tom rush to the rescue and soon find Trevor. Trevor has to admit that he was wrong to go off on his own in the dark and decides to listen to advice more in the future.

Trevor is planning a barbeque and Norman declares a barbeque cook-off with the winner being crowned Pontypandy barbeque champion. Trevor's barbeque sets fire to a nearby tree and spreads dangerously close to the gas canister on Tom's barbeque! After the fire gets under control, Sam has a canny idea to make a barbeque out of an old oil drum - but the two chefs are going to have to cook together!

Fireman Sam and the team are taking part in a drill - rescuing an old lady played by Steele who is locked in a cupboard. Meanwhile in the café's cellar, Mike is fixing a leak and gets trapped with Lion. Back at the station Steele is now also trapped. Elvis and Penny free Mike, Lion and eventually Steele, just in time for Mike to join Elvis in a musical duet at the karaoke night.

Mandy and Norman head to the beach and challenge each other to see who will get the best catch of the day. Mandy comes across a whale, stranded on the beach! Sam, Penny and Elvis head to the beach when the alarms go off. Tom arrives in his helicopter with a harness to lift the whale back into the sea and with Penny's help in lifeboat Neptune, the team releases the whale back where he belongs.

Sam is looking forward to a day off but finds a good fireman is never off duty! He has to rescue Mike from the shop roof, stop a runaway bus, extract Norman from quick-dry cement and put out a fire in Dilys' shop. When Sam tells Penny and Elvis what he's been up to they are amazed - no wonder it's been a quiet day at the station - he's been rescuing everyone all on his own!

Norman Price has his hands full looking after Woolly and Lambikins. He tries to train Radar to be a sheepdog but isn't successful. He forgets to close the gate that leads on to the road. Woolly and Lambikins escape onto the road and into the path of Mike's van. Mike avoids hitting the animals but is trapped after crashing his van, its Fireman Sam and the team that come to his rescue.

It's Halloween and the Flood's are having a big party. Norman sees a pumpkin lantern and puts a cloth over it so everyone will think it is a scary ghost. The Flood's house catches fire - the pumpkin lantern that Norman covered up has caused a huge blaze! Sam and the team arrive and Norman apologizes for causing the fire.

It's Fireman Sam's day off. The fire station is being manned by Elvis and Penny, who is battling a nasty cold. The fire-fighters have been called out three times throughout the day but Penny's cold is getting worse. On the last call Steele immediately calls Sam to take over from Penny. Sam, of course, is only too happy to jump to action.
