Four friends reunite. One of the friends convinces the others to join her in summoning the water goddess, Erzulie. The seemingly failed attempt leads the women to encounter a stranger who secretly defends them when a ex-boyfriend follows the group. A series of clues leads the women to discover not only the body of the ex-boyfriend but straight to a face to face encounter with the goddess Erzulie.
