Faced with rising crime & increased racketeering activity, intrepid newspaper editor Britt Reid becomes the crime fighter the Green Hornet (Gordon Jones, known later as Mike the cop on the Abbott & Costello Show). Donning a disguise, the Hornet & his brilliant Asian inventor/sidekick Kato (Keye Luke, famous as playing Charlie Chan's son, etc.) fight an infamous racket that's menacing their city.
