John and Mary live in the city but the depression arrives and they are devastated. They flee to the country in the hope of finding a new life. Together with similar folk they set up a farming community based on the teachings of Edward Gallafent. All does not go well. Drought and aggressive law enforcers cause trouble. Can they make this new Utopia work?
