1986 NCAA(r) Division I Men's Basketball National Semi-Final - LSU vs. Louisville
Louisville defeated LSU by a score of 88-77. The top-seeded Cardinals were led by the tournament's Most Outstanding Player, Pervis Ellison, and coached by Denny Crum. LSU, coached by Dale Brown, became tied for the lowest seed (eleventh) to ever make the Final Four. Louisville went on to defeat Duke in the final game to claim the national title.
