A Reckoning in Boston

Boston residents Kafi Dixon and Carl Chandler attend a course in the humanities for low-income adults. As white filmmaker James Rutenbeck documents their academic progress, he's awakened to the racism and gentrification that threaten their very place in the city. With Kafi and Carl's support, the film changes course as James confronts a flawed premise and his own complicity in systemic racism.
