Fresh Tracks

This episode shows the adventures of Arizona's late season elk hunts, featuring an Arizona blizzard. Randy and his son, Matthew, are looking for bull elk in the promised land of elk hunting.

Randy Newberg takes you to the public lands of Central Montana with David Brinker from Sitka Gear. Choosing to use traditional archery gear, David gets his chance.

Randy returns to his favorite New Mexico grasslands to spot and stalk archery bulls. An old elk friend, "One-beam," again becomes the bull of choice in Randy's hunt. Three years prior, the bull was granted a reprieve, in hopes his other antler would re-grow. At 28 yards, "One-beam" and Randy have a 15-minute showdown.

Randy Newberg shows that pronghorn are his favorite, both to hunt and to eat. This episode has Randy on one of his toughest pronghorn hunts. Good friend Mike Spitzer is along for extra eyes.
